About

Jeffrey is a stage director, adaptor, and dramaturg living and working in Chicago, IL.

He is the Marketing Coordinator for Collaboraction, Chicago’s premiere multi-media theatre and performance company, and is occasionally employed  by the Museum of Science and Industry.

In 2008 Jeffrey was an adjunct instructor at Kenyon College of Gambier, OH, teaching Classical Theatre history with President S. Georgia Nugent.

He is also a graduate of Kenyon College, with a degree with Honors in Drama and a minor in Classical Civilizations. His honors thesis addressed directing and adapting Greek Tragedy in both historical and modern context.  In his senior year he was awarded the Ashford Memorial Cup, presented to the  student who has contributed the most in a given year to the theatrical community of the College.

Jeffrey continues to adapt Greek tragedies and epics for the stage, focusing on investigating and exploring new forms of storytelling and myth creation.
